Summary:Catalog for an exhibiton of anatomical specimens, produced and preserved according to a new process developed by Gunther von Hagans. This process--called Plastination--makes it possible to lend rigidity to soft body parts. As a consequence, specimens of the entire body can be inherently stabilised and posed in such a way that they are actually capable of standing, which was formerly restricted to skeletons.
